Hard Rock Hotel Penang is the ultimate destination during our short trip to Penang. Hard Rock Hotel is an expansion of Hard Rock Cafe bar-restaurant chain. Currently, Hard Rock Hotel Penang, which opened its doors on September 19, 2011, is the only Hard Rock Hotel in Malaysia.
As Hard Rock Cafe is known for its collection of rock and roll memorabilia, Hard Rock Hotel Penang does not fall short of that as it is filled with rock and roll memorabilia all over its premises.
Seaview Deluxe
We stayed in a Seaview Deluxe under "Anything You Want (You Got It!)" package. And because we booked the room in advance, we paid MYR 570 only (not including tax) as we got 43% off the rack rates! The package included breakfast for 2 persons at Starz Diner, MYR 100 voucher redeemable at Hard Rock Cafe, Pizzeria, Starz Diner, The Shack, Lobby Lounge, Rock Shop and Rock Spa.

For those who are afraid to go out to the open world, Hard Rock Hotel Penang has its own sands within its premises surrounding the swimming pool.

Lil' Rock Kids Club is an indoor playhouse for little kids aged 4-12 years old.

Needless to say, this was the only other place which Jezebelle was looking forward to besides the swimming pool. It wasn't hard to coax her out of the swimming pool area to this place, but it wasn't easy at all to persuade her to leave Lil' Rock Kids Club!

Body Rock Gym is a well-equipped gym with state-of-the-art equipment and stunning poolside view. It would be awesome to do workout in the gym. However, our intention in Hard Rock Hotel Penang was just to relax, therefore, we didn't allocate any time at all for the gym.
Rock Spa
Rock Spa
Rock Spa is the place to be for services such as massages, body scrubs, body wraps, facials, manicure & pedicure and even hair removal.
Enjoy the sea view while getting pampered in the spa bungalow or in the beautifully decorated outdoor cabanas facing the sea.
Rock Spa was the only other place besides the Teens Club which we didn't have the opportunity to have a go at because we were busy looking after our toddler, who seemed to fully enjoy herself more than we did.
Other Water Sports Activities
There are other water sports activities available outside Hard Rock Hotel Penang premise run by a 3rd party operator such as jetskiing and paragliding. Pony ride and ATV are also available.
